Cahmere Rose, a three year old filly by Cape Cross, became Mr Khalifa Dasmal’s fifth winner of the year on 30th July, when coming from way behind to break her maiden in France. This was her third run and the first over the distance of one and a half miles.

Yesterday, 2nd August, Dream Cast a two year old colt by Refuse to Bend, was just caught when looking the winner of a six furlong Class 4 maiden at Ffos Las. This was a significant improvement on his debut performance and he looks to be shaping into a nice horse. The Racing Post reported: “Dream Cast looked to have put his seal on this when bursting through to take over inside the final furlong but his run just flattened out close home and he was collared. This was definitely a big step forward from his debut run and he already looks good enough to pocket a maiden before going up in class”.

Both horses were bought by Mark Crossman as yearlings.
