Majeed, a three year old colt by Mount Nelson out of Clever Millie, broke his maiden on his second outing recording a cosy win in a fair maiden at Wolverhampton yesterday. The colt was bought at the Deauville Paradise Sale in 2011 by Mark Crossman on behalf of and in the presence of Mr Khalifa Dasmal for €120,000.

The Racing Post reported:

A fair maiden.

MAJEED, all the better for his debut outing in November, travelled best and kicked clear off the turn in, but he edged over to the rail and became vulnerable to the late finish of the runner-up. His greater experience told, though, and he held on a shade cosily.

The Dasmal Team have a two year old full sister called CLEVER MISS in training with northern handler Alan McCabe.
