Surge Ahead makes it seven
As the turf season comes to a close with still some, if not the best two year olds yet to come out, next year is full of promise with all the two year olds that have run being rated 74 or over with two being rated 79. SURGE AHEAD by Danehill Dancer looks a promising type having won his maiden second time out as well as DREAM CAST by Refuse to Bend who was also rated 79 when coming second second time out. We are hopeful that MAID A MILLION will break her maiden before the end of the year.
We have purchased eight exciting new yearlings this year so far which are destined to be trained by Robert Cowell, David Simcock, Marco Botti, Ed Walker, Alan McCabe and fresh to us, Derby winning trainer Peter Chapple Hyam.
This is a list of the yearlings:-
2011 colt by ROCK OF GIBRALTAR ex SOUTHERN HOUSE
2011 colt by HENNY HUGHES ex COSMIC WING
2011 colt by BUSHRANGER ex TATORA (SERGEANT STEELE)
2011 colt by COMPTON PLACE ex RINGAROOMA (AYA’S GIFT)
2011 colt by JEREMY ex ELOUGES
2011 colt by KYLLACHY ex NIGHT PREMIERE (COLONEL ALI)
2011 filly by MOUNT NELSON ex CLEVER MILLIE
2011 filly by MIZZEN MAST ex HASHEEMA
Khalifa Dasmal has had a good season with seven winners in the UK and France totaling nine wins from fourteen individual runners. With the only disappointment being the sidelining of Group 1 winner Prohibit with a knee injury. We are expecting him back at full throttle next year.
